This is going to be tough...

Not as tough as losing a dog, but still tough...After living with us for 3 years, the daughter is packing her clan up and moving an hour away from us...this is the only home the 2 year old has known, and the 4 year old learned to walk and talk here...the 8 year old, eh, she'd rather watch tv than spend time with me but I will miss her too...these two have been my partners in crime and we have gotten in plenty of trouble together...case in point, this pic, they were supposed to be taking a nap but I nabbed them to go out and help me unpack the new kayak...by the time they are 10, I will have a fleet of these so we can take our silliness to new horizons...

On the bright side, I now have a new reason to visit Roger's Sporting Goods!

Yep, always mixed emotions when they move away. Looks like you already have plans for future adventures though.

I have 2 preschool grandsons that I've lived with all their lives that are moving out of the house. It's tough.

It will be tough, Daniel. I am very close to my granddaughter, when I'm home, and the minute I leave for the south, I want to turn around and stay. The older she gets, the worse it gets, BUT she's old enough to remember her travels now, and so she will.

Have as much fun as you can, while you can, making memories.
